For over six generations, our family has carried forward the art of rug making. What began as a humble craft has become a lifelong tradition — where skill, patience, and experience are passed from one generation to the next.

The story of Jahan Rugs began nearly a century ago with two brothers, Hubban and Abbas Wazir. Officially registered in 1925 as Abbas Wazir Pvt. Ltd., it became the first Indian-owned rug export house during the British Raj. What started as a small workshop has since grown into a network of family-run enterprises — all bound by the same dedication to honest craftsmanship.

At Jahan Rugs, we continue to weave in that same spirit. We collaborate with artists, designers, and kindred makers who share our belief that handmade work still matters.
